BOBCAT RENTAL MANAGER
TRIANGLE EQUIPMENT COMPANY - MORRISVILLE, NC
 
Triangle Equipment Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Rental Manager to lead our rental department. If you have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, managing equipment inventory, and driving team success, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rental Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rental department, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, handle inquiries, negotiate rental contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Fleet Management: Manage the rental fleet, including inventory, availability, and utilization rates. Recommend fleet changes based on market demand.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the service department to schedule and oversee the maintenance, inspection, and turnaround of rental equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor the rental team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Financial Management: Control costs, manage department budget, and analyze financial performance to meet or exceed rental goals.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to convert rental customers into sales prospects and increase overall dealership revenue.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Proven experience in rental management or a similar role within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
- Equipment Knowledge: Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of compact construction and landscaping equipment, preferably Bobcat products.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful teams.
- Customer-Centric: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, web navigation and ability to learn dealership systems.
